Community Health

Promotion Program

 

TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) & US Army Garrison- Detroit Arsenal (USAG-DTA) Department of the Army (DA) civilian employees are encouraged to participate in this fantastic program.

 

The Community Health Promotion Program (CHPP) encourages members of the Total Army Health Family to engage in a program of consistent exercise and other positive health habits. 

 

This Program is available to "ALL" DA Civilian

employees assigned to TACOM LCMC at Detroit Arsenal and USAG-DTA.

Program Details

 

 

 
  • First line supervisors may approve up to 3 hours per week excused to participate in Command sponsored formal physical exercise

  • Duration of program is up to six months

  • Pre & post program participation evaluation required. Participants are monitored continuously during all times.

  • Program must include exercise and nutritional education. Program offered one time only per person. Enrollment on first come, first serve basis - Limit 100 Participants 

  • Through increased activity, the CHPP yields participating DA civilians

  • employees lower health risks and increase emotional and spiritual well-being.

Improved Soldier performance and readiness. Build confidence to lead, courage to stand up for one’s beliefs and compassion to help others. Comprehensive Soldier Fitness (CFS) is about maximizing one’s potential.
