Youth Education Support
Program
Child and
Youth Services School Liaison Officer (SLO) is the “point
person” for facilitating the delivery of quality school
transition and education support services and to help parents
ease the impact of the mobile military lifestyle on the academic
success of military children. In addition the SLO serves as the
primary advisor and subject matter expert to the Commander on
matters relating to schools, youth education issues, and School
Liaison Services.

Outreach Services
Outreach
Services provides common support services for all Child and
Youth Services programs, community and parent services, and care
and supervision options. The following services are provided:

Central
Registration and Referral

One-stop
registration office for all CYS programs

No appointment
needed – walk-ins are welcome
P
Referrals for
certified Family Child Care (FCC) providers and Homes off Post
(HOP) as well as other community services
P
Waiting lists for
child care programs

Babysitter
Training and Referrals
P
Safe Sitter
babysitting training offered periodically for youth 12 years and
older.
P
Referral list of
training babysitters who can provide short term child care in
your home in available at the Central Registration Office. All
babysitters must have completed a viable babysitting course and
must be at a minimum age of 13 years to be placed on the
referral list.

opportunities to get involved in Child and Youth Services by
participating in the Parent Advisory Council, volunteering,

Short Term
Alternative Child Care (STACC)

On site child
care provided by CYS staff to units/organizations for functions
