Army Family Action Plan

Detroit Arsenal, Warren, MI

Position:  Issue Support Person

Purpose:  To serve as the issue support person for issue review and development to the workgroups the Selfridge Family Action Plan (AFAP) conference.

 Supervisor(s):  AFAP Program Manager/ACS Director

 Duties:

• Attend required volunteer training.

• Utilize Issue Update Book to ensure issue is not currently being worked at DA level.

• Assist work group with suggestions for clarifying issues.

• Encourage delegates to review the Issue Development Checklist.

• Work with Workgroup; group Facilitator, Recorder, and Subject Matter Experts for accurate reporting of issues.

• Complete conference evaluation form and provide to Program Manager.

 Time Required: One (1) two-hour training session, full day conference, time needed to review issues and Issue     Update Book.

 Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with AFAP program.

• Organizational skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to stay on task.

• AFAP Workgroup Training
