2008

Organization Day is an annual event held at the U.S. Army Garrison Detroit Arsenal in Warren Michigan to celebrate workers and families of the military community. It expresses our thanks and gratitude to our entire workforce. The day is filled with various fun activities for all to enjoy.

Rain or Shine!

Activities in the past have included a dunk tank, food vendors, petting zoo, military vehicle rides, bands, and much more! Family members, friends, and retirees are invited to attend. Please plan on participating in a day filled with fun, spirit, and camaraderie.

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

  Organization Day is an annual event to celebrate workers and families of the military community. It takes many hours of planning and preparation from over a hundred volunteers to pull off this fun-filled day.

   We are currently looking for volunteers for the 2008 Organization Day. There are many events to sign up for such as fundraising, sports, golf cart shuttle drivers, games, and much more. You can volunteer to help at one event or multiple events. You don't even have to volunteer for the entire day - you can volunteer for a one or two hour duration.
 

If you have any questions about any of the volunteer events or how to fill out the forms listed below, please contact Lori Grein. You may also fax your completed forms to Lori at 586-307-5593.

The forms necessary to volunteer are listed below. The first form contains a list of tasks that need volunteers - please select which one you would like to volunteer for. The volunteer agreement is the second form below and must be completed by those who are NOT being compensated for their efforts. If the volunteer is under 18 years of age and not married, then he/she must fill out the third form listed. When finished, please submit to Lori at the above email address or fax number.

SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

Organization Day is funded by sponsors who generously donate to celebrate the workers and families of the military community. In return, companies and organizations receive a great opportunity for advertisement and exposure from sponsoring the event. Sponsor benefits include community awareness, name recognition, on-site display, as well as, other promotional opportunities. In the past, the majority of our sponsors have been from Warren and the surrounding areas but all companies are welcome.
